This year’s Annual Meeting of the Membership will be held on May 22, 2018 at 7:00 PM in the Social Hall.
At this time, the slate of Trustees and Officers will be submitted for election by the Board. The slate of nominees was submitted by the Nominating and Governance Committee on April 21, 2018 and approved by the Board of Trustees. You may view the slate below.

III. New Trustee Bios
Jack Frishberg
Jack Frishberg has been a member of CBE for over 20 years and a member of the finance committee for over 10 years. Jack received a B.S. from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania in 1982 and a M.B.A. from the University of Chicago in 1984. Professionally Jack has over 30 years of banking experience. He lives in Park Slope with his two daughters both of whom attended Yachad and Hazakah and were B’nei Mitzvah at CBE. His wife, Leslie, is also an active member at CBE.
Molly Silberberg
A born and raised New Yorker, Molly joined CBE in 2017 after becoming involved with the synagogue through Brooklyn Jews and the voter registration trip to North Carolina in summer 2016. Molly is an active member of Brooklyn Jews and Friday night service attendee. She served on the Assistant Rabbi search committee and is currently a member of the Ritual Committee. Molly is the Humanities Manager at BAM, where she organizes discussions and classes to provide context for BAM’s productions along with literary and ideas-based programming.
Marc Sternberg
Marc Sternberg and his wife joined Congregation Beth Elohim in 2010 when they moved to Brooklyn. All three of their children attended the ECC program and now participate in Yachad. Marc currently serves as co-chair of CBE’s rabbi-educator campaign.
Marc is the national director of the Walton Family Foundation’s K-12 Education Program. He moved to New York City in 1995 to teach public school in the Bronx. Since then he has served as a high school principal, and then deputy chancellor at the New York City Department of Education and senior advisor the mayor’s office. Marc earned a B.A from Princeton and a joint MBA and Masters in Education from Harvard, and served as a 2009-2010 White House Fellow.
