Please join CBE’s Dismantling Racism Team to welcome back to CBE the most powerful player in Brooklyn’s criminal legal system, Brooklyn District Attorney Eric Gonzalez. In November 2017 we asked for, and DA Gonzalez committed to, reforms to make Brooklyn’s criminal system more just. We will assess the progress to date, hear about Justice 2020, his plan to implement further change in Brooklyn’s criminal legal system, and propose further avenues to make our community safer and more just.
