Friday Nights at CBE with speaker Steven R. Weisman

Join us for our first Brooklyn Jews Shabbat of 5779 on Friday, Oct. 12! We’ll gather at CBE (274 Garfield Pl) for services at 6:30pm. Doors open at 6pm, so feel free to come early, schmooze and have sip of bourbon or wine! After services, we’ll have dinner and drinks, and we’ll hear from a special guest speaker, author Steven R. Weisman. Weisman’s recent book, The Chosen Wars: How Judaism Became an American Religion, explores a number of themes of special interest to our community. Dinner and drinks is $15/person.
