Kver Avot (Visiting Our Ancestors’ Graves)

Join us this Sunday, September 12 at 11 AM for Kever Avot- the tradition of visiting the graves of our ancestors during the Days of Awe. Rabbi Matt Green and Cantor Josh Breitzer will lead a memorial service at New Mount Carmel Cemetery, where CBE has our congregational plots right nearby Union Temple’s plots, followed by a short tour of some notable graves, including Shalom Aleichem, Bella Abzug, Abe Cahan, and Leo Frank.
