Meal Preparation for CHiPS Soup Kitchen

On Tisha B’av, we remember the day the Temple in Jerusalem was destroyed. We are transported back in time and sit in the rubble of a broken city, weeping in lament.

This year, out of our liturgical despair, we will look to our own city’s broken shards and grieve for our most vulnerable neighbors. On Tisha B’Av, we will gather to prepare meals and deliver them to CHiPS, our neighborhood soup kitchen, as we participate in the healing of our city.
