Rabbi Timoner will be facilitating a forum through the New York Jewish Agenda entitled Divided We Stand: Allies Debate the Two State Solution. The conversation will feature Peter Beinart, the author of many books and articles about Israel, who just blew up the internet with an article about giving up on the two state solution; Jeremy Ben-Ami, the Director of J Street, the national pro-Israel, pro-peace advocacy organization that lobbies for a two state solution; and Rabbi Jill Jacobs, the Director of T’ruah: the Rabbinic Call for Human Rights, who writes extensively on these matters and is a deeply respected rabbinic voice for Palestinian human rights and Israel’s mission to be a Jewish, democratic, and humane state.
