Purim Carnival

March 4, 2018 @ 9:30 am - 11:30 am

Kids of all ages will enjoy the fun: bounce houses, Gaga pit, carnival games, costume making, and interactive Megillah readings!

So many emojis, one exciting event! Can you guess which emojis will inspire our clergy’s costumes for our emoji themed celebration? Bring the whole family to this all ages party to find out. We will have bounce houses, a gaga pit, carnival games, costume making, and interactive Megillah readings!

Book Drive at the Purim Carnival

Join us at the Purim Carnival to share the spirit of our community and our love of reading! The Youth Social Justice Committee is sponsoring a Book Drive and Card Making table to benefit pediatric patients at Methodist Hospital. Bring a gently used (or new) book to the Purim Carnival and stop by to add a card and ribbon.

This is a great, tangible opportunity to talk with your kids about the importance of giving back to their community, and to help them choose a book of their own to donate to sick children! Through Reach Out And Read (ROAR), pediatric patients at Methodist are read to by volunteers and then can take the books home with them. Preschool through early elementary aged books are always needed.

11:30 AM: Two Megillah Readings to choose from
Families with children through 3rd grade in the Sanctuary
Families with children 4th grade and up in the Chapel

Cost for carnival: $25 for adult, $15 for children 2 and up
