Kabbalat Shabbat Service with Rabbi Noa Sattath

The formation of the new extreme right-wing government and its proposed judicial reforms raise deep concerns for Israel’s democracy. It is important that we in the U.S. understand what is at stake and learn from those who are pushing back against this unacceptable agenda.

As part of a speaking tour for New Israel Fund (NIF), Rabbi Noa Sattath, executive director of the New Israel Fund’s flagship grantee, the Association for Civil Rights in Israel (ACRI), Israel’s leading civil and human rights organization, will join us at Kabbalat Shabbat services. She will update us and offer some rabbinic insight for the ongoing struggle. Noa is ordained from Hebrew Union College, Jerusalem.
