Tisha B’Av Service in partnership with Altshul

All are welcome to join CBE and Altshul for Tisha B’Av services commemorating the destruction of the Temples. We will join together in mourning and reflection on the floor of the darkened main sanctuary, starting promptly at 9:30 PM on Saturday evening, July 17. The service will include Havdalah to mark the end of Shabbat, Ma’ariv davenning, a Kavana or intention setting, chanting Eicha or Lamentations, and singing Kinnot, traditional liturgical elegies. To attend, please sign up in advance and fill out this health screening form within two hours of entering the building. Copies can be provided at entry if you are unable to print at home.

All participants must be masked and either be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 or have negative PCR results within the previous 3 days. Please bring a flashlight or headlamp so that you can read
