Head Counselor (18+)

Develop your leadership experience with us.

Head Counselors will fulfill a leadership role within each camp group, supporting campers as they move through their daily schedule, as well as planning and facilitating group activities throughout the week. Head counselors should have all of the traits listed in the counselor position, as well as strong leadership, problem solving, and communication skills. We recognize that leadership comes in many forms,  and welcome introverts and extroverts to apply. Candidates should be responsible, compassionate, strong leaders who have previous experience working with children, ideally in a camp environment.

Camp Kef Hebrew Counselor (18+)

Help children develop their language skills.

In addition to all of the traits and experience level needed for the Head Counselor position, Camp Kef Hebrew Counselors should be fluent in Modern Hebrew. Counselors will work with campers in a Hebrew immersion setting, helping promote and facilitate the speaking of Hebrew throughout the camp day.

Counselor (16+)

Be one of the most important role models in a child’s life.

Counselors are enthusiastic, caring, creative, and positive role models who support the well-being of campers at CBE Kids Day Camp. Candidates should be compassionate, ready to bring a great attitude on a daily basis, and have some previous experience working with children.

Counselor in Training (CIT) (15-16 years old)

Gain experience for the rest of your high school career.

This position is an opportunity for early high school students to gain experience in a childcare setting. CIT’s will offer support for group and head counselors, while learning about childcare techniques and best practices. This is a learning position with a paid stipend attached to it.
