Elementary day camp is for children entering K-4th grade. We offer a wide variety of fun and exciting activities in a safe environment supervised by highly qualified staff.

Our facilities include a spacious indoor pool, art room, computer room, gymnastics equipment, and two large, multi-use air-conditioned spaces. Nearby Prospect Park is used for sports, nature, circus arts, and outdoor play. Jewish values are explored through weekly themes including peace, friendship, community, nature and the environment, charity, and acts of loving kindness. Shabbat is celebrated every Friday and everyone is included.

Daily Hours: 9:00 AM–5:00 PM, Monday through Friday
Extended Hours Add On: Our early bird and late bird programs offer child care before camp begins from 8:00-9:00 AM Monday through Friday, and after camp ends from 5:00-6:00 PM Monday through Friday.

Advanced registration is required in order to participate in the both the early bird and late bird programs.

Special Programs

In addition to daily activities, we plan some extra special programs to make camp that much better such as:

  • trips in and around NYC, including baseball games, Liberty Science Center, and Adventure
  • mid summer olympics (full day of sports and field events)
  • end of summer carnival
  • sleepover for campers entering 3rd-4th grade
  • pizza lunch on Wednesdays

Each bus is supervised by a CBE KIDS bus counselor. He or she is responsible for the safety and well-being of our campers. Morning pick up starts around 7:30 and the campers will arrive at CBE by 8:45 AM. Buses leave camp at 4:45 PM and will drop campers off at their bus stops no later than 6:00 PM. Here is a list of the neighborhoods; South Slope, Gowanus, Cobble Hill, Carroll Gardens, Brooklyn Heights, Fort Greene, Clinton Hill, Prospect Heights, Windsor Terrace and Ditmas Park. The final route will be determined by demand. Cost is $140 per week.

Registration Notes
There is a $75 registration fee. Fees include snacks and a camp t-shirt. Families can pay in full up front or can opt for a monthly payment plan. All payment plans must be complete by June 1, 2020.
