Welcome to swimming at CBE! We partner with Physique Swimming to run our pool operations.
Swim Lessons
All swim lessons at the CBE pool are open to anyone in the community and are taught by the fantastic Physique Swimming team. Physique has set up a special portal specifically for CBE, which can be accessed here. All information regarding schedule and registration can be found there, and if you have any questions, you can contact Physique at pool@cbebk.org, or by phone at 212-725-0939.
Physique is offering all CBE members a 10% discount on swim lessons. Use Promo Code “CBESWIM” at checkout.
Physique offers multiple classes a week for all ages. If there are no spots available in your preferred time slot, more times will become available over the next couple of months.
CBE Member Swim
In addition to swim lessons, we also offer swimming hours for all CBE members in good standing at no additional cost. Open swim is on a first come, first served basis, until the pool capacity is reached. Before you enter the pool area, a Physique Swimming team representative will confirm your CBE membership information. No membership cards are required.
Adult Lap Swim
| Morning Lap Swim (Monday to Friday) | 8–9 a.m. |

| Morning Lap Swim (Sunday)* | 8–9 a.m. |
Lap swim is limited to members 18 and older.
*Morning Lap Swim on Sundays will return for the fall on Sunday, September 24.
Family Open Swim
Family Open Swim returns for the fall on Saturday, September 24. Every Saturday starting then, from 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM, the pool will be open for CBE members of all ages. While there will be two lifeguards on duty, parents are expected to supervise their children in the pool area.
Locker Room Information
We offer men’s, women’s, and gender neutral showers. Gender neutral showers can be accessed by walking through the pool deck and through a door at the far end of the pool. Curtains block these showers from those walking to and from the women’s locker room to the pool. Those who utilize the gender neutral showers can leave their items in cubbies located in front of the Physique Swimming desk.
Closings
The pool will be closed on Jewish and national holidays. Please check our calendar for specific dates. CBE reserves the right to close the pool on additional dates needed.
Location
The pool is one flight below street level in the Temple House (above the gym). It measures 60′ by 20′ and has four lanes. A lifeguard is always on duty when the pool is open.
