Dear Parents,
It is very nice to go back and study together after Passover. Hope you enjoyed the holiday. We are starting the last stages of the year, and this week we began to summarize the story we have learned. We played a nice board game about the exit from Egypt, and we filled a workbook together, full of activities that the children enjoyed.
Have a wonderful day, and spring blooms,
David
Hebrew Through Movement
Tuesday
Shalom Families,
We are doing a small unit on Israel and focusing on Yom Atzmaut, Israel’s Independence Day. We are learning how to follow Hebrew commands to draw the Israeli flag. On Tuesday, we focused on the following vocabulary words: degel (flag), degel yisrael (Israel flag), l’malah (up), l’matah (down) and b’emtzah (in the middle). We played a game where students had to respond quickly to the Hebrew commands to place their hands up high, low or on their tummy (in the middle). Next week we will focus on the shapes and colors in the flag.
B’shalom,
Sharone
