What does BESTY Jr. do?
BESTY Jr. is all about meeting other middle school students and learning from the BESTY teens who help to run their programs.
Take a look at what BESTY Jr. has accomplished, created, and had fun doing!
TYE-DYE and Pizza Party!
BESTY Jr. kicked off the school year with a TYE-DYE pizza party! Middle school students got together to meet new people, make art and enjoy delicious NYC pizza together.
Sandwich-Making and Packing for CHiPS
23 of our BESTY Jr. kids got together to make bagged lunches for ChiPS! Since 1971, CHiPS has been supported the community helping to prepare hot, nutritious meals and serve them to the hungry in a caring and respectful environment. We bagged over 200 lunches with sandwiches, a snack, and a beverage. It is great to see what the kids can accomplish when they do it together!
Brooklyn Winter Social with NFTY
The Brooklyn Winter Social was an amazing opportunity for BESTY Jr. to meet other Jews their age in the Brooklyn area. The program consisted of Havdallah and a fun program led by Jayme Dale Mallindine, director of URJ 6 Points Sci-Tech Academy.
