Congregation Beth Elohim, fondly known as CBE, offers authentic, meaningful and outside the box Jewish experiences for those in our Brooklyn community and beyond.
We are deeply committed to education for all ages, community-building, spiritual life, and social justice. We are inspired to learn about our tradition while we engage with the present and positively impact our future. Our Reform congregation welcomes seekers from all Jewish movements, from other faiths, and at all levels of Jewish experience, including those who are new to our traditions and those who are questioning.

For our annual spring gala, we are going all in on a Casino Night theme, so put on your poker face and roll the dice with us. It’s a sure bet this will be a great night!
Meet the Moment
The most vulnerable among us are being targeted and abused. Our country is dangerously divided. Now is the time to act. At CBE, we are heeding this call: we are embracing our Jewish tradition’s insistence that we use our lives toward a higher purpose, by taking meaningful action for a more just and gentle world.

Shabbat at CBE
Join us for Shabbat services every Friday night in the CBE Chapel at 6:30 p.m. and Saturday mornings in the CBE Sanctuary at 9:30 a.m. Shir L'Shabbat for families with young children (newborn–5) takes place on Shabbat mornings at 9:30 a.m. in the CBE Social Hall.
CBE Kids Summer Camp + New Specialties!
Calling all families: sign-ups are rolling in for another season of fun, inclusive K-5 summer camps right here at CBE—with easy access to Prospect Park and a swimming pool! New this year, we’re offering specialty camps Aug 3-14 for K-6, including Art, Basketball, Cooking and Ninja Obstacle Courses! We also offer a Hebrew immersion camp.
