Why Should You Join?
We pride ourselves on being a warm, diverse, engaged, and sacred community comprised of people who support each other in moments of both celebration and sorrow. We welcome all who seek a connection to Jewish life regardless of religious background or beliefs, gender or gender identity, sexual orientation, race, ethnicity, socioeconomic status, age, or abilities.
CBE has something for everyone, at every stage of life. We offer open and experiential programs from early childhood through high school. Our Early Childhood Center, Yachad (K-12 Jewish and Hebrew Education program), after school programs, and day camps serve not only the congregation, but also the broader Brooklyn community. Our myriad educational and cultural programs for adults, including Torah Study classes and our acclaimed Brooklyn By the Book speaker series feature faculty and visitors from around the globe.
The doors of our k’hilla kdosha (sacred community) are open to you. Please join us anytime for Shabbat and visit our website calendar to check out what’s happening at CBE.
CBE is a proud member of the Union for Reform Judaism.
