4th Grade Remote: Siyum I

Good morning 4th Grade parents, and happy almost-Shabbat!
It’s our penultimate (2nd-last) week of Yachad School. But never fear, Yachad Camp will start right afterwards.
Our newest lesson is out: Siyum I.  Siyum means Completion, as we’re reviewing some of the wonderful Torah-heroes and values that we’ve explored in this jam-packed year. (Next week, our final lesson slides will be Siyum II, where they’ll take their experiences forwards in a meaningful way.)
So, here’s a schedule for this week in 4th Grade (plus a family special event you might enjoy).

Saturdays:
  • (asynchronized, so, whenever works best) Check out Siyum I. Students can go at their own pace.  There’s no password, come right in.
  • 10:30am-11am: Any Yachad 4th Grader can come! Zoom with Claudia & Abby  Password: Yachad18
Sunday 5/3
  • 4:30pm there’s a special CBE-wide event: Social Justice Family Opportunity: Feeding the Hungry.  Join Rabbi Epstein and Bonnie Kerker to learn about and act on the Jewish value of feeding the hungry/ma’achil re’eivim. Register in advance for the zoom link, here.

Monday 5/4:

Tuesday 5/5:

What’s new in our Zoom hanging-out times: This week, we’re playing Jewish trivia games together! If your child has looked over the slides yet, they’ll know all the answers; if not, they’ll have fun guessing with their friends, and finding what the slides will be about.

As always, I am thinking of you and your child very fondly.
Please don’t hesitate to reach out for any reason.
L’Shalom,
‘Morah’ Leora Tanenbaum
