Animals and more!

Last Saturday, our K-1 Dual Language students reviewed Tikkun Olam and learned animal vocabulary!

Hi parents!

This week, we had some fun with animals! To kick off class, we reviewed our Tikkun Olam lesson with the Tikkun Olam song. We learned the words kelev (dog), dov (bear), peel (elephant), nachash (snake), soos (horse), and kohf (monkey). During choice time, one of the options was to make a paper bag puppet of one of the new animals. The other choices were reading, the matching game with our fruit and veggie words, and playing the number memory game on the computer. We were able to go to the gym this week, which the kids really loved! Then, our art project at the end of class was creating a nachash or snake out of paper chains. Everyone could choose how long or short they wanted their snake to be.

We can’t wait to see everyone next week when we start learning about Passover!

Best,
Noa and Allison
