CBE’s Spring Gala is the largest annual fundraising event for CBE and our largest celebratory gathering.

Last year, nearly 400 people attended! Our goal this year is to raise $500,000.

At this year’s gala we’ll celebrate each of the seven decades of membership active in our community, and we’ll honor our longtime members, Jules and Julianne Hirsh, who joined CBE in 1967. In addition to being a shofar sounding legend, Jules served as President of the Board of Trustees in the late 1980s and the mid 2000s. Julianne also served on the board, as well as the religious school committee, the ritual committee, the after school committee and in countless other ways that supported our growing community.

Whether you joined CBE in the 1970s or the 2020s, on May 29th we will come together to share CBE stories from each decade; to raise funds that are crucial to sustain the day-to-day support of our spiritual, educational, and cultural programming; and, of course, to have fun!

Our CBE members are what makes it the strong, vibrant, inspiring community that it has been for its entire history, that it continues to be today, and with your support, that it will continue to be for all the decades to come.
