We are so excited to invite you to the annual CBE Community Art Show. The show will take place the weekend of May 15 and is a great way to build community, learn from fellow artists, share your work, and discover new work!
Submissions
We’re accepting submissions between April 7 and April 21. Submissions must meet the following criteria:
- Your art must be new to the CBE Art Show.
- You must be an adult member of the CBE Community. This includes: CBE members, staff, teachers, Altshul members, Brooklyn Jews, and parents/guardians of Shir L’Shabbat, afterschool, summer camp, and ECC participants.
Please note: new this year, due to security updates you must log in to your MyCBE account via ShulCloud to submit. Contact Jenna Lindie, jlindie@cbebk.org if you need help accessing your account. Selections will be communicated by May 5, 2026.
Full weekend schedule:
Friday May 15
- 5:30 p.m.: Jewish Happy Hour & Open Gallery (Social Hall)
- 6:30 p.m.: Kabbalat Shabbat Services (Chapel)
- 7:45 p.m.: Kiddush & Dessert (Lobby)
- 8—9 p.m.: Open Gallery (Social Hall)
Saturday May 16
- 9:30 a.m.—11:45 a.m.: Shabbat Morning Service (Sanctuary)
- Noon—4 p.m.: Light Refreshments and open gallery
- 7 p.m.—9:30 p.m.: Refreshments and Remarks
