Dates to Keep in Mind

April 11th- Israel Sneak Peek

The 8th Grade Yachad students will be sharing about their recent Israel trip to the 7th graders. We are inviting all 7th Grade families to attend and learn about this amazing experience. The presentation will begin at 5:45pm in the sanctuary followed by individual Q&A with the 8th graders and Rabbi Epstein in the Rotunda from 6:00-6:30pm. As usual, we are offering dinner from 6:35-7pm, however if you wish to leave with your child at the end of the presentation at 6:30, you are welcome to do so.

April 18th- Working on Mitzvah Fair Posters

With the Mitzvah Fair coming up on May 9th, we are giving students the opportunity to work on  their posters in class on April 18th. The posters will be a visual representation of the work they have accomplished or are continuing to accomplish. We will provide each student with a poster board, markers, and art supplies, however if they want any additional supplies(i.e. printed out photos, other types of poster board) we urge them to bring these to class that day. This is the only time during Yachad hours students will have to work on their posters, however there are two weeks in between this date and the Mitzvah Fair for students to finish at home.

May 9th- Mitzvah Fair

From 6pm-7pm we are inviting 7th Grade families, 6th grade students, and the larger CBE community to showcase the 7th grade mitzvah projects. The Mitzvah Fair will be set up similarly to a science fair, where each student will get a space on a table to present their project as attendees walk through. As we have mentioned in the past, the mitzvah projects do not have to be completely finished at that point. Students can present on what they have completed thus far, what they have learned, or what they will continue to do.
