Mishloach Manot Baskets!
Last Saturday we finished our unit on Purim!
Last Saturday we concluded our study of Purim by creating mishloach manot baskets in the shape of Hamantaschen and filling them with crafted goodies!
This Saturday, we’ll get familiar with Passover – the celebration of freedom.
Hebrew Through Movement
This week we talked about colors:
Red- Adom – אָדֹם
Yellow- Tsahov – צָהֹב
Green – Yarok – יָרֹק
White- Lavan – לָבָן
Black – Shahor – שָׁחֹר
Blue- Kachol – כָּחֹל
We also learned the word Crown – Keter – כֶּתֶר, and then played a game with crowns in different colors. During the game, we learned that in Hebrew the adjective comes after the noun, for example: Green crown – Keter Yarok – כֶּתֶר יָרוֹק
