The Verdict is In

After a snow day on Monday, we had two successful Esau v Jacob mock trials this week! In both trials, the jury found Jacob guilty of wrongfully stealing the birthright. We are very proud of all the 5th grade students who have worked so hard throughout this whole unit learning the process of a trial and thinking critically about this Torah story. Thanks so much to everyone who joined us for these exciting evenings, especially to the parents who volunteered to be on the Jury. In the coming week, we will reflect on our experiences in the mock trial and learn what happened to Jacob and Esau’s relationship later in life.
