Welcome to 5th Grade!

We’re so glad to be back for another fun year of learning and building community together at Yachad! In our first week of 5th grade, we’ve been getting to know each other and our new schedule though games and illustrations.

This year in Hebrew, we will begin work on Hebrew decoding skills (sounding out letter and vowel sounds together). In our first week, we have started to meet the Hebrew teachers who will work with us in small groups.

During our second day of class, we added our first two words to the “Hebrew Word Wall” in our classroom. They are Kavod (Respect) and Brit (Covenant). We used these words to decide on a list of shared values we want to live by as a class this year.
