Kindergarten: Purim Prep!
Lucy, our Madricha (high school assistant), led the class this past Saturday and worked on her teaching skills as part of Yachad’s Madrichim leadership program.
We talked about the benefit of trees, what they provide us and how we should take care of them. We read a book called “Swimmy” by Leo Leoni in which Swimmy shows his friends how – with ingenuity and teamwork – they can overcome any danger. (Raya’s Class)
(Elie’s Class)
We prepared for Purim by reading stories and making groggers. We shared times when we, like Esther, stood up for others— the students told some great stories about helping siblings and others in our communities. The students are doing a great job with Hebrew colors! Elie will return after the February break. Lovely to meet your great children!
