New Hebrew Books

This was our first week using our brand new workbooks during our Hebrew lesson. Students are continuing to work in leveled groups of 2-4 during this time to get personalized attention from teachers and madrichim. Depending on the groups, they are using one of two primer workbooks. The first workbook, Welcome to Modern Hebrew combines decoding skills with basic comprehension by putting together small sentences. The second book Simple Steps to Reading Hebrew helps students gain confidence in letter recognition and decoding. In addition to the workbooks, we are incorporating games, flashcards, and online resources to help students practice and stay engaged. We are excited to continue with this program as students develop their Hebrew reading skills.

Students have also been busy preparing for our mock trial between Jacob and Esau. If you haven’t already, please RSVP for the mock trial and pizza dinner via the links below. You can also volunteer to be on our jury on these pages.
